Yarida (ヤリ一グ) is a yaripon hero and one of the three main heros, the others are Taterazay (tatepon) and Yumiyacha (yumipon) you choose one of them at the beginning of Patapon 3 demo. He unlocks Kibadda hero in the first demo if he gets to

To activate Yaridas hero mode you have to make a perfect attack song (Pon-Pon-Pata-Pon). While in hero mode he will launch one spear at a time (Leveling up will allow you to fire more spears) that make a small explosion each one making damage to anything close to the spears (similar to Patapon 2 Yaripon hero mode, The Iron Fist, but it has less damage radius than before). He is revived by Silver Hoshipon and the Almighty, once you play as him you march toward the sound of the Pata Drum where you find Hatapon praying to the almighty for help, he joins you and you march back towards your petrified patapon comrades where Hoshipon will revive three patapon great warriors, Kan yatipon, Chin tatepon and Tan yumipon and he drops Ka-ching on the way. Hatapon will take Meden (still petrified) on the way. Once you cross the flag post indicates you finished the level.Taterazay

Taterazay (夕テラ一ゼ ) is a Tatepon superhero introduced in the beginning of Patapon 3 demo as one of the three main Superheroes. You can choose between Taterazay (tatepon), Yarida (yaripon) or Yumiyacha (yumipon), each one having separate abilities and attributes. Taterazay unlocks Tondenga.He is a close combat patapon with good damage and defense. AppearanceEdit
Taterazay sports a orange mask and a light red cape, he wields a sword and a shield. At Lvl. 5 he can use blades, (stronger version of swords).

Similar to Patapon 2 where he protects all of your army and himself with a barrier. But to activate it you have to do a perfect defense song (chaka-chaka-pata-pon). A major help. Because on Patapon 2, you could activate Hero Mode with every chant. (Except the marching chant.) Story (demo)Edit

Yumiyacha (ユミヤッチャ) is a Yumipon superhero and is one of the three main heroes you get to choose from (the other two being Taterazay the tatepon and Yarida the yaripon). At Lvl 3 he unlocks Wondabarappa the Megapon Superhero. Yumiyacha has low stamina but he is situated at the back of the team so it doesn't matter. He is the main support unit with very good long range damage. Yumiyacha has a green mask, and like all the yumipons he wields a bow and arrow and a Lvl.5 He can wield Crossbows and Longbows.

Similar to Patapon 2's Broken Arrow. To activate it you have to do a perfect attack song (pon-pon-pata-pon) and the hero will shoot three flaming arrows into the air, that will fall in different places so it can do a lot of damage in all over the place. Story (demo)Edit

TONDENGA:

Tondenga is a superhero class in Patapon 3 . He is probably a Dekapon , judging from the heavy equipment he has. You unlock Tondenga when you upgrade Taterazay (orange masked tatepon superhero) to level 2. He wears a pink mask and is in the form of a buhyokko rarepon (Pig). Like many other Heroes, Tondenga's masks has been edited, the bottom part of it has been removed, giving it a more pig-look. When he upgrades his mask at level 5 he looks similar to a cat. He can equip shields at any level. At Level 5 he can even use swords instead of hammers, if you want. He can equip shoulders also, but there are no other forms of shoulders, so the shoulders stay the same every level.
Not able to use great shields (that would be unfair).
Hero ModeEdit
Tondenga's Hero Mode is activated by a perfect attack song (pon pon pata pon). When he goes into Hero mode, he spins round, smashing enemies with his weapon. As he has a high attack power, this attack can be devastating. He is very slow moving while in Hero Mode, rendering him to more enemy fire. TriviaEdit
- The Patapon 3 website says that Tondenga has the ability to swing 2 clubs at once, but more detail will be found out about him when the game is released.
- Tondenga is seen using a shield, unlike in its prequel were only tatepons were able to use them. maybe you'll be able to equip shields to your Tondenga once he reaches Lvl.10. similar to Kibadda were you can equip halberds and lances once he's Lvl.5
Kibadda SuperheroEdit
Added by SebaponKibadda is a kibapon superhero introduced in Patapon 3. You unlock him by leveling up Yarida (yaripon superhero) to Lvl 2. (Unlocked with frog-pon in 2nd demo at Lvl 3) Weak when not in fever mode, but he is a safe player (every time he lands an attack he retreats). Unlike in Patapon 2 where to activate the Hero mode you have to be in fever mode and then make a perfect rhythm (not including marching). Now you have to be in fever mode, charge, and then attack (PON-PON-CHAKA-CHAKA~~PON-PON-PATA-PON) and the rhythm has to be perfect. Because he has so much equipment to help him; the horse, shield and lance/spear/halberd, each one can attribute to his stamina, health, damage, elemental damage, defense, speed etc... He is one of the patapons that deal the most damage, he can easily run over groups of bonedeths (newest enemy tribe) and can deal massive damage to bosses without taking to much himself.

Kibadda has a white mask and and a red cape. He is equipped with a horse, shield and wields a spear and reaching Lvl. 5 you can equip de halberds and lances. TriviaEdit
- In this newest installment the Kibadda uses the spear, unlike Patapon 2 were the kibapons only use lances and halberds.
- Yumiyacha (Yumipon ), Taterazay (Tatepon ), Yarida (Yaripon ), and Kibadda (Kibapon).These regular patapon heroes have visible hair and their masks do not change as they level up. The other two Superheroes are actually Rarepons :Wondabarappa (Wanda as a Megapon ) and Tondenga (Buhyokko as a Dekapon).These rarepon heroes do not have hair, however their masks change as they level up (to Lv 5 and maybe Lv 10).
WANDABARABA:
Wondabarappa is a Megapon Hero of Patapon 3. Unlocked by leveling up Yumiyacha (the yumipon superhero) to Lvl.2. The Megapon hero sports a pink-ish mask and changable horns/longhorns (different from conventional megapon flutes and horns) and also has a changable cape. Wondabarappa is a Wanda level 5 Rarepon and the only Megapon class to be seen in the game. It is still unknown if there is a different class of megapon on the game. Can equip Longhorns at Level 5.
Hero Mode

Wondabarappa's Hero mode is activated by a perfect attack song (pon pon pata pon). He fires large, bouncing golden notes that deal huge damage. A lot of these are fired when Hero mode is activated so the damage dealt adds up quickly, good for covering the melee units. PykeronEdit
Added by PatadoxPykeron, aka Gekoroth Hero, is a new hero introduced in the 2nd Patapon 3 Demo. He is a completely different class from any in Patapon 2. You unlock Pykeron after you upgarde Yarida to level 3. He wears a green mask and is in the form of a Gekoroth (frog). He can equip shields and spears at any level. At level 5 he can use lances instead of spears. He also has a special class ability that allows him to summon thunder with his attacks after he performs a charge.
Hero ModeEdit
Pykeron's Hero Mode is activated by a perfect charge command song (PON PON CHAKA CHAKA). His Hero mode is unlike any others being that every time he performs a perfect charge the time limit increases 20 seconds and goes from 20 to 40 then 60, with each increase his entire partys' attack multiplier increases 1.2, 1.5 and 2.0. - Pykeron is the only Hero so far that activates on a charge command song (other superheros use it for Hero mode but don't need it to be perfect)
- Pykeron is a totally unique class.
- Pykron's main weapon is spear, but is able to throw Halberds, which has never been done before.
